BA Salon is a collective salon in Metro Detroit, home to a collaborative team of beauty professionals with specialties in custom color, blonding, highlights, curly hair, hair extensions, bridal beauty, and event styling. By bringing together artists with different areas of expertise, we are able to offer personalized salon services that connect each guest with the right stylist for their unique hair, goals, and style.

Neurodivergent Sensory Specialty Services

We provide neurodivergent and sensory-friendly salon services for clients seeking a calm, supportive, and customized beauty experience. Our team understands that traditional salon settings can feel overwhelming, so we offer a more patient, flexible approach for guests with autism, ADHD, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and other unique needs. Our goal is to make every appointment feel safe, respectful, and tailored to the individual.

ASD Teach Me Hour: A one-on-one learning experience created for children or adults with Autism. This session is taught by Emily, who is also Autistic and understands the sensory, communication, and processing challenges firsthand. Emily creates a calm, patient, and supportive environment tailored to each individual’s learning style, helping them feel empowered, confident, and understood. $75
Autism/Sensory-Friendly Haircut: Experience a calming, sensory-aware haircut tailored for individuals with autism and sensory sensitivities.
